Never be

Eyes that see through me,
Lips that could melt me,
Spoken words that could seduce me,
Hands that warm me,
Arms that protect me,
A body that covers me,
Legs that wrap around me.
He comes close as I breathe him in.
Surrounded in a room full of people,
Exchange of glances from one another,
Careful not to be see by all the others.
Crowded, pushed in, we brush up against one another, the fire ignites, sparks start to fly. Hands touch in a polite hand shake, as we pretend this is our first meeting.
Memories start to over flow, hearts beating fast, trying hard not to come undone.
She stands by your side, beautiful is she how I wish she was me.
I have you at night for a short time, she has you for the rest of her life. A love that is forbidden, a moment stolen in time the sad truth is he will never be mine.
