Free
“Free” a word that impacts the mind and soul with such confidences
That it beguiles, both in charm and deception. Masquerading its true identity
Of how it came to be, of how this word that makes you believe, enslaves you.
That in reality free is a word that should not exist it should be punished
It should be sentence to death for the crimes it has committed.
If free means to be exempt from all authority, influences and nature
To be without restriction to be held or obligated by no one or nothing.
Then how can this word continue to be allowed to have liberty.
We are not free to enjoy liberty we have a privilege to enjoy liberty
Show me something that is free and I will show you that it has a price.
The right to choose is also misunderstood, for we do not choose when we do choose
Because we are free, no… we choose because of a need or a reason
And it is your need and your reason that are the restrictions that cause
Free not to be free.
Mislead me no more release me from your charm unmask yourself
Get of your throne “free “
