The chemistry
Sometimes it would seem
As if the chemistry that alters me
Upon doing so controls me also,
It takes my will in its hands,
My destiny becomes her whim,
So much so that I personify her
Into something greater than me,
But that I know doesn't exist
And I think:
That if I already turned her into a person
And I have granted her power over me,
That it can still go further.
And I sing a song to that chemistry,
That I hope it be only one with yours,
That it go and that it come,
That it synchronize us,
That it finally debunk the coincidence,
That it vanish the intrigue,
That so kills me,
For I think that your elements,
And mine,
Could complement each other,
Yet I cannot affirm it
With certainty.
I'll keep a delusion,
An illusion, a nonsense,
That's worth more than a belief.
I'll keep a justbecause,
I'll keep a lie;
The chemistry I shall blame
For this, for me, for you, for all.
