Couldn't Give What She Wanted The Most

Gave her world class cuisine
roses every day and perfumes
even bought her jewelry
rolled out the red carpet in every way

Gave her all of my physicality
cries of passion
moans of intimacy
met her bodily needs

The one thing I couldn't give
was my soul and devotion
yes I was faithful to her solely
but my monogamy was void of all of me

Still stunned in silence
when i came home to find
that when I looked
she was no longer around to give anything to...
