Quietly

And just before the dawn broke
the stillness of the moment
I joined you outside
passing the coffee before
settling down without word needed
till dawns light over the horizon to appear  
as I took in your mornings release like my coffee
slow and warm
without explanation given
but saying thankyou in our own little ways
for the beautiful day ahead
