Saddest Lovers Triangle

Have you heard the story about the Saddest lovers triangle
The rock had fallen inlove with the scissors’ fine shaped body
Made the rock want to cut away her curves and become more “perfect”
But with every touch, the rock bent the scissors…
So she loved her from the bottom of her soft heart

The rock did not like the paper
For the paper was too soft for the rock
The paper reminded the rock of how soft her own heart was
So she kept her distance from her
And her smothering love.

The paper wanted to be more like the rock.
Big, strong and more confident in herself
But every time the paper got close to the rock
The rock turned a cold shoulder
And it tore the little papers heart.
The paper cried and made herself even more weak.

The scissors loved that about the paper,
The fact that she could be free with her feelings
For the scissors was cold and sharp
Anything that decided to get close to her got hurt
And the only other thing that did get close to her without getting hurt
Was the rock, but she was getting hurt herself.
The scissors loved the paper so much
All she ever wanted to do was hug the paper
But every time she did, she scared the paper more and more
So she ceased to pursue her love.
“If only I were a little more blunt,” She said.

Each of the 3 was hurting on the inside
For they couldn’t love who they wanted to love
And they hated their own bodies.
What they didn’t realize was that someone loved them ever so dearly
And if they changed any aspect of themselves
They wouldn’t be that beautiful Creation
That others love about them.
They would cease to be who they are…
