Do you ever wonder why; when a grown man cries
A part of his pride dies; so he tries to disguise

His emotions and vulnerabilities erasing all possibilities
Of accepting his weaknesses and disabilities

Do you ever wonder why; when a woman is scorned
She goes through life bruised and torn

Selling her soul for pennies and dimes
Crossing all caution and cutting the lines

Of communication or reason; living from season to season
A man tries to lover her sincerely
She pushes him away, body language saying do not come near
me


Do you ever wonder..who really controls the world?
When wars are waged; who sends our boys and girls


To kill and die for purposed that amount to zilch
So many of our loved ones captured, tortured and killed

Do you ever wonder why you can’t have happiness and peace
Why can’t we live freely without government and police

Why can’t we be civilized and live as one
Why does problems have to be solved by the gun

Do you ever wonder why we have to die
Why can’t we live life without trying to pry

Into everyone’s business live and let live
