Frailty and finality
The end of all things to come
At long last, I can finally
See the end of the road
It is cloaked in obscurity
Shrouded in the mists of grey
Paths I chose a long time ago
Have made my choices for me
The hands were dealt, the blood was spilt
In reality and dreams
I have forgotten all the graves
When nothing is what it seems
It's all so grey
Here at the end
The road was paved
With memories
The cold touch of anomalies
The shifting shapes in the dark
Face to face with mortality
Fingers of skeletal hands
Tracing lines of sobriety
Here at the end of the road
