I smelled you in
The summer air
Salt and smoke and
And limes brought my
Senses to tingling awareness

I felt you near me
In the sticky heat
Your hand in my hair
Your body covering my secrets

I heard you in the
Echo of the running river
Words whispered and shouted
As you crashed into me

We loved in warmth and
Darkness and you brought
Me to the brink of ecstasy
