I met her in the dark
Her eyes shined brighter than the stars at night
And the sun at dawn
She was something the moon despised
She was a lit match our city was a herbal jungle
Setting the whole city on fire
Putting everyone on a mild high

... It was different for me
She took me to cloud 9

I loved it there
A little bit better than Eden
A reach of a hand from heaven
But we weren't aloud there
The angels judged with sin
Because God gave us each other
With no litost to comprehend

... It was different for her
She just wanted what was best

She believed in bad timing
And that we were it
But we weren't
Heaven was on top
Earth was in the middle
Hell was below
So time hadn't ended

... It was different for everyone else
Us being in love was hell on Earth to them
