Light of the samaritans

Beautiful souls,
Burdened with such tolls,
Scarred and burnt,
Still their light shines bright,
Life's lessons they have learnt,
Always willing to hold anyone who needs it tight,
Lending a helpful hand,
Humble reasons which are never grand,
Joy received for what they do,
Is what refreshes them anew,
To stand up for the next round,
Without so much as a sound,
The strength of they,
Will never be lead astray,
Caring for their fellow human being is more than instinctual,
It's liken to being spiritual,
Naught for any monetary gain,
Just to help someone lessen the strain,
Brighten someone's outlook,
After its been temporarily shook,
Soldiering on,
Shining brighter than the sun,
They light up a room,
Instead of looking like a tomb,
Blessed are they,
Who brighten any day of grey,
With a smile,
Thinking of nothing to sit and listen for awhile,
Enjoying the moments shared,
For they are the one's that truly cared.
