Nephew Knows

Two shots over and I've realised
my mistakes, contemplated about
taking a shot towards my head.
Money couldn't stop a suicidal
weakness but I stop to think about
my kid, I looked in the mirror
and damn I'm such a mess. My
boy reached out to my hand and
said "uncle why you do this?
Hurting yourself and the ones
you love, you're hurting me
and disappointing the one
above not to mention grandma,
who tries to take care of us.
She puts day in and day out
yet you act like smoking is
a must." Forgive nephew I
didn't block her out but it's
hard when you don't know
what love is about. I jus..
"If I didn't know what love is
about I wouldn't show affection
in fact, I doubt that I know
what love is but I just want
to have you around." My tears
came rushing down, then he
told me "don't you ever frown,
