Shoreline Drive

She's as comfortable clothed
as she is stripped bare,
and even half mast
is taking her there.

One foot on the gas
and one on the brake,
she'll go either way,
whatever will take.

Head
to the hills
and tear up
some lumber,

or else
heading down,
or else up
until slumber,

a woman
at comfort
with all
that she'll be

is someone
who mixes
the sand
with the sea.

There in
the ebb
and the flow
of the shore,

the tide
rushing in,
taking all….
giving more.
