Ice
A young pale face and pouty lips, she used to hide from hypocrites.
The light inside her eyes was dead as fear and pain turn into dread.
Abandoned by her dearest friends, she hatched a way to make amends.
As they stared and wished to use , she thought herself to be abused.
Night came fast and then arose, A sweet young man who did propose. And though her pain she tried to hide, he could see it in her eyes.
I'll give him all I have she beamed and life will finally be like I dreamed. No more nightmares no more pain, no more longing for the rain.
But he was not what he had seemed, how could he ever be so mean. Oh yes he took all she had, untill she saw hes just like dad.
Fear returned, that bitter friend and it too did make amends. Thick as thieves again they were, the one she feared the most was her. Alone again she now has found, she was nothing but a clown, a toy to use with lies and cheats, as she lay upon the sheets.
And so she sought to end her life, the night she found this Lovely knife. As she gasped that final breath she plunged it deep within her chest.
Though on that long and lonely night she had to drop the unless knife, for not even steel can pierce a heart incased in ice.
