When I was young, the path green and clear,
And Sun upon my feet,

Very soon, without a sound
In darkness and plight
No warnings or care
In the wild winter night
Something follows me here
The path is lonely, twisted and scared,

Some say love, has roads long and lonely
That leaves one lost and old
Without the suns love, left taken and cold

Naked and afraid, no shoes upon my feet,
Like a wild winters night, left frozen in fears
Standing in my shadow, it followed me here
