Laughter
There's an adrenaline in laughter
turning cowards into heroes,
twisting a normal man into a psychopath
as he stands at the gates of hell.
Laughing takes a tickle in the heart
and giggles it into a tickle fight,
touching lips, kissing so light
melting two people into a work of art.
A laugh can spark a forest fire
or soften an intimate campfire
or create a candle lit encounter
of dear sweet lovers, softly aglow.
Laughter can twist a frown into a smile.
Laughter can make a marathon feel like a mile.
Laughter can turn a bright weed into a flower.
Laughter can turn a tear into a sobbing shower.
