Compartmentalized Desires
Conflict...solution the ever lasting intrusion, Gallons and gallons of the same ole pollution.
Greed and lust innate everlasting desires, It is the kindle and we are the fire.
Burning down our blessings in frightful confusion, Chasing an estranged elongated delusion.
We live imperfect, Hiding truths beneath the surface, Running from our verdict, Even when there's no question that we deserve shit.
We inherited the earth we outta preserve it, But wisdom is purged leaving idealism deserted.
If history truly is a slim indication, Then at some point surely we can find salvation.
We strive through strife as others muddle through life, Wishing away their best dream.
Voices echo out to reach those in doubt, attempting to save them as forked tongues spout.
Attempting to breed the most tainted of seeds',That crawls in our hearts like a fatal disease.
Walking the wears through florescent stares, The illumination given off by the animosity of 10,000 glares.
