Modern day hero's
Bravery Walks among us, In Emergencies they appear.
EMT's, Police Officers or ones in turn out gear.
Selfless, Every day they Risk their lives For ours.
and Unless we walk a mile in their shoes
we will never understand their scars.
First Reponders, Bravest as they come
But they remain humble, Because it's their job and it has to be done.
Always At The ready, to answer what could be their Last call
Knowing the Risks, That they may not make it back home at all.
