JUST GARBAGE
We are just garbage
Living on a garbage heap
With pretensions of age
And purity so deep
That we hope to one day
Leave this dump
And fly away
Leaving behind this lump
Of garbage in which we stay
until we realise
that we can’t do away
or desist from what we sermonise
to get rid of our baggage
which is pure garbage
from which we seek to salvage
our soul; our pure luggage
