Pulling up the long sleeve
rubbing the scars present
Snatching the burner

Slamming it down onto the already worn down skin
you wail
Slapping yourself
Baiting yourself calling it blackmail
rubbing the mark
sending shivers down your back
repeating words after words, trying not to snap
Turning the burner up high
without being fully aware
you shove it onto your arm
