Acid Trips And Alcohol Lips.
Swollen cheeks
On ice cold ones
We detach
And her hand goes limp
She's dead
In my breaking arms
I hug her decaying bones
And place her on grass
As the sun sets.
I can't let her go
She was my aider
When I got addicted
When my heart raced
For acid trips
And alcohol lips.
I look at her
Turning blue
Her cherry lips
Turning too.
I sit with my hands on my head
Next to a fire
Thinking about dropping it all
Thinking of gnashing my teeth at God
Then shooting a bullet through my drugged
Brain
Straight to hell
Smacked by the hand of disdain.
I was a thoughtful man
Dragging my feet through sacred land
I feel so much pain now
In my gut
As I drink the last
Of a bottle of cheap table wine
I stole from a store
That sells weed for evermore.
Now my music of choice
Rings in my ears
Thrash
And solid guitar lines
Bashing my brain
As I work up to it.
I sink some pills
And smoke some green
I catch the scene
A scenic backdrop
For me to die
She's not going to be alone
To fight what lies on the other side.
To whom shall hear
And to whom who will clean
Up my splattered brains
I'm sorry.
On ice cold ones
We detach
And her hand goes limp
She's dead
In my breaking arms
I hug her decaying bones
And place her on grass
As the sun sets.
I can't let her go
She was my aider
