A moment of true perfection
I'm laying in the grass,
as a soft breeze shakes the brown leaves,
We lay under a sky filled with stars,
as if heavens' angels are holding up candles that brighten the universe.
I wrap my arms tighter around you,
you lay your head on my shoulder.
I asked:
"Isn't she beautiful?"
She nods and says:
"I've never seen such a beautiful night sky before."
I look deep into her eyes,
Moving the hair away from her face I whisper into her ear:
"Actually, I meant you sweetie."
Never had I thought a girl thát pretty could get even prettier..
Her hairs were like carefully woven strands of pure gold.
Her soft red lips bend into the most amazing smile,
She's a sight to see.
Her eyes, blue as The Maldives.
An ocean you just have to jump in, and I almost drowned.
But I was really glad I took that dive.
Just as my thoughts were wanderin'..
She kissed my cheek.
She totally caught me off guard.
That's when I knew we were made for each other.
