Taking a Risk on Love
I left the door unlocked,
pushing out the fear
that the monsters
living behind the teeth
of strangers passing by
would force their way in
and burn my world to the ground.
The risk feasibility analysis
assessed it was worth it
on the long odds chance
that you might stop by
and my eyes might see
your smile.

Got to roll the dice. It is tough to know when to leave the door unlocked, but sometimes you simply have to. Me, I just keep a shotgun within reach:). Really enjoyed this Sammy.
Thanks Crowfly! I guess a shotgun is as good as a locked door when love is on the line. haha

no shotgun for me I have an aluminium baseball bat called Freda and and Ice pick called bear - I beat myself with the bat and poke myself in the groin with the bear - because lets face it - it is always all my fault :-)
