A Life Once Dismembered
Deafening silence with no end
Not a single hair left with bend
Completely alone in a serene setting
But caught with panic, then starts the wetting
Captivated by all this beauty
But to focus and remember is my duty
Under such state my mind feels fickle
Turn to the left and my body gets a tickle
I search around for something familiar
Nothing looks real, even in the mirror
Where was I at, what had I become
I check my bag, I still got some
Good idea or not it's what I chose
Not quite insane but close I suppose
Quickly the lights look so appealing
I can't say how long I looked at that ceiling
A night to remember
But hardly remembered
Saved a life
That was dismembered...
Not an actual occurrence but close too. Started off with something completely different in mind for this but the heart and mind must find peace.
