Hercules and Hanuman are gone
Mighty men of lost renown
Who fell to rise and stooped to drown
Beneath a storm upon green waters
Before the flood that brought them down
If you are not of love and angel born
Defiant yet defined in mortal years
If you’re not the beloved one

Interesting, i was engaged in a conversation recently whether heroes are born or created and the answer was a little of both.
I suppose we are the star of our own destiny.
