I Oddly Love You

(This doesn't really rhyme, by the way..I'm also bad at love poems.)

I promised myself not to fall for you,
But my heart didn't care.
My emotions were mixed,
And nothing in my mind would let you go.
The way you make me feel,
The way I love you,
It's something that someone could never part from me.
We walk down the street,
Holding hands as we speak,
People decide to stare.
They stare at us,
And I believe it's beauty they're looking at.
The way you are,
The way you were,
Is my everything now.
Just look,
We fit together.
Our scars are almost perfectly aligned,
As our hearts and feelings continue to intertwine.
I love you,
I think more than I've loved before.
I am paranoid and afraid,
That one day I'll be a ghost,
A silhouette in the darkness as you live your life freely.
Your lips against mine,
That feeling will never leave me.
I am jealous,
When a thought of something different crosses my mind,
I ask how you are,
Just to save all the time.
The time we have to talk.
The time we have to love.
I know I'm not much,
But I'm still here,
And I still love you dearly.
