The Piece that’s Missing
I see your face
And I hear bells
It takes the place
Of my beating heart
Even in the dead of night
You bright up my life
No other person, can even compare
When all you have is all I want
How can I not need you?
All these thoughts are replaced with images of us
Then please tell me now
How can I not love you?
Always so perfect in everyway
Like a glimpse of heaven staring back at me
So much more than I ever deserved
But that doesn’t mean I’ll just give up
I’m a fighter, for our love I will fight
Because I know
Somewhere deep down
This is so much more
I can feel it deep down to the bones
It’s like a piece of me was missing
From the first sight I knew
I was missing you
And I hear bells
It takes the place
Of my beating heart
Even in the dead of night
You bright up my life
No other person, can even compare
When all you have is all I want
How can I not need you?
All these thoughts are replaced with images of us
Then please tell me now
How can I not love you?
Always so perfect in everyway
Like a glimpse of heaven staring back at me
So much more than I ever deserved
But that doesn’t mean I’ll just give up
I’m a fighter, for our love I will fight
Because I know
Somewhere deep down
This is so much more
I can feel it deep down to the bones
It’s like a piece of me was missing
From the first sight I knew
I was missing you
