Believe

I want to believe nothing she said was true. It's not real just a fairy tale she made up in her head. I want to believe there's something left, something left to fight for, something to believe in.
But circling these thoughts that I believe are reality will only leave me to a cold mortality. For these thoughts in my head the ones that I underline because they are so important, they lie to me. Make me deceive the ones who stand alone, make me believe my life is less important than a grave already filled with dirt. The head stone already filled out "Gone for now. Fairy tales do exist." and they do. The thoughts you believe. The ones that chant "You're worthless." "Go die." "Isolate yourself and cry." They are the fairy tales you are forced to live. So you ask yourself, your reflection in the mirror "Why? I never wanted this! Why was I the one left to die?" So you blame the ones around you, hoping giving in to the demands of your damned mind will make it go away. Free the shackles from your wrists, so you can speak your own rhyme, so you can live your own life. But it won't. You have to Try. Open up to others, break down and cry. Then one day your eyes will open from the book of fairy tales and lies. Free at last to blink the tears free.
Let your own tongue speak.
Let your mind believe there is hope.
And for once, it won't be a lie.
Open your eyes to your beloved heart and breath in the truth, don't sit and let yourself slowly die.
