Gone(A Sonnet)

As I sit and stare, just to remember
Our days together when nothing was wrong
The time we spent was ever so tender
But now those are all just dead and gone

Oh, what I would do just to get you back
But now the emptiness rages inside
For your love is what my life will now lack
And pain eats away as I slowly die

Inside my mind my life is still just fine
Bu truth kicks in and I realize I'm wrong
Sorrow depression all on my mind
And for you I will continue to long

And then I realize what must soon be so
I must learn to live on and let go
