Ouch/aww. This is really sad. I'm sorry that you have to experience a lack of understanding, I can certainly relate to that. Why some people feel that mocking/invalidating someone is the way to assist is beyond my comprehension. It's messed up but I suspect it's just easier for them. I wouldn't want to go out with them either if I were you, or even be around them for that matter.

Deep peice, I'm sensing social anxietiy right? Its very common perhaps if u presented them with facts? I know you feel as though you are not listened to or taken seriously then you have to make yourself heard! You don't have to be confident to do that - I promise I know what you mean here.... This is so sad. My family picked on me, too, especially about my weigh and it made me so self-conscious and isolated. It's hard to stand up when your family are the bullies. Great expression here and I wish you every good wish that you will get through this.
