Small Wonders
We’re going to the rooftop
and walk across the edge,
just like we did
when small wonders were none,
We’d sit there on our lips at sunset
never knowing we could fall
to watch glowing
the world’s largest red ball,
The sun,
It ran horizons to the right
bit by bit, our world was tilting
until it started again
in the memory of summer,
The sun never looks as big,
or on fire as it did
as looked on
when small wonders were none.

Have you ever noticed how you naturally rhyme? When you’re in a conversation with someone, just stop and notice a second, and you just might smile at your style. :)

you know the chimney sweep sequence
in Mary Poppins..? I was watching with
my son once and he wanted to go up
onto the roof to see if the London skyline
really did look like that - a few nights
later I took him to a friends flat on the
9th floor of the tower block, but he wasn't
impressed. I said, I'm really sorry, son, if
it's not high enough - he said it's not
that, dad...no sweeps..!

I love to hear what their imagination's thinking, there's no telling where it will go. That is really funny and Mary Poppins rocks. :) You do too. Thank you for sharing that. :)

It was the neighbors that lived across the street. Their house was a basement. We’d jump up on the short end and walk down to where we sat – it was only about five feet of the ground there, and so there wasn’t much fear in falling. It was perfect in facing the west. It was our spot. It’s where all of us kids would gather in the summer evening and wind down in watching the sun fall. We’d get in trouble for walking on it though. I mean the rooftop.

so tiny in such a large world; we get taller, everything gets smaller.
but not loneliness...loneliness gets bigger...

We were short. If only had we realized how small a lifespan truly was, we wouldn't have waited so long to start living. Alone is nice(most of the time; 90%, maybe even 95) More imagination for us. :)

My favorite word, my favorite gem, my favorite color of the scene; the padparadscha sunset dream...I saw a moon in this color early one morning, it was really pretty.
