looked up to heaven this morning
felt your warm kiss upon my tears
I know you're smiling down on me this day
hugging my heart as it feels your memory
felt your hand upon my soul as sad tears
lingered upon wet lashes and streaked my face
with every signature your earthly life is erased
each document I sign with teardrop ink
reminding me of how much I miss you
although others may forget your existence
you will always be my Mom & Dad alive in my heart

I miss my parents too. I couldn't have asked for better. I imagine your Mom and Dad are keeping an eye on you and are very proud of their daughter.
