Ambivalence and Melancholy
Naturally we're placed in a constant state of ambivalence.
Fear of judgment and disapproval present in equivalence.
The deepest sufferers have the most convincing smiles.
For their truths hidden deep
Covered by effective wiles.
The angriest people have the darkest story.
The biggest fears; the paths of their lives considerably gorey.
We all hide behind
Another face
Disregarding any concerns
With swift apace.
Excuse my melancholy
Though my point is valid.
This sorrowful song
A well rehearsed ballad.
