You Notice

You’re the first person who has ever made me this comfortable,
I know that I can be completely myself with you.
My anxiety does not hold me back when I am with you
because I know you love me for me,
you accept me for who I am,
and you never judge me.

You're the first person to be able to read me so well,
maybe others just didn't care enough to try.

If you notice I am upset
you pull me into your arms and hold me tight,
you hold me until you know I’m okay.

If you notice me getting anxious
you do anything you're able to do,
anything that will ease me;
like a hug
or a kiss
or for being my voice when my nerves get the best of me,
you do whatever you can do to help me.

You're the only person who has ever made me feel so confident,
so comfortable,
so happy.
