Devils in Angels' Clothing

Hidden behind religious masks    
They do the Devils Dirty-work,    
Committing to the tasks.  
   
How could a Sin  
be less of a Sin  
when it's done within religious "reason"  
???  
   
Who are YOU to Deny Heaven's Gate?  
   
Who are YOU to decide someone else's fate?  
   
The stars were not designed to be sought    
only then to be left with dreams forgot.  
   
Who are YOU to Deny someone LOVE?  
All in the name of the maker(s) above?  
   
Heaven can be found on earth.  
With its light in the life that may flourish all around US.  
   
Heaven is within OUR power.  
The choices that we make designate our fate a fit driver.  
   
So you hide behind your masks.  
   
Tell the world a book told you so.  
   
Lay blame to your faith    
with all of the choices that YOU decide to make.  
   
All on.....who's account?  
   
Heaven can be a found on earth.  
With LOVE that blossoms like blooming buds.  
The Devil, however,  
has his say    
and allows you to make haste with your feverish waist,  
spreading hate in the name of your maker(s).  
   
Tell me again,    
what is a Sin?  
   
Is it to love another?  
   
Is it to see from a perspective that is different    
than the view from your own closed window?  
   
Is it to be born?  
   
Is it to survive this wear and tare
brought on by the religious masks    
that the devils wear?  
   
OR is it to chase away the natural beauty found in this place  
only to Replace it with a SIN that wears a different face?  
   
Could it be to DENY someone their rights?  
   
Is it a sin to chase fellow wanderers from the light?  
   
Is it when barriers are drawn to keep what's different out?

-WE ONLY SERVE STRAIGHTS HERE

There is SO much goodness in this world  
that the sun still manages to rise and set for.  
   
We are Not Beyond Hope.  
   
WE ARE, however,  
BEYOND this poorly sought endeavor  
that we are ALL Created Equal...  
so long as "we" are ALL the same.  
   
Devils in angels garments commit sins in Ignorance's name.  
   
This life and world is ours.  
We all live under the same wishful stars.
