Wordsmith

Our communication has suffered as we rely on words,
there is a simplicity in oral expression
however does it do the soul justice?
do words suffice?
or do they all too often fail to display
the genuine emotion of a wordsmiths underlay
I often wonder if you ever truly knew..
yes you were a wordsmith so to speak
did you ever truly understand the feelings layin within,
those expressions of a love and an appreciation
that can never truly be conveyed
simply by using words..
did you ever really know that a million words could never display.....
the love I felt for you...
for yes you were a wordsmith ....
yet words failed both you and me..
and so much was left unsaid...
and then...
