Spiders
When I discovered spiders lived with me,
I was amazed at what they would locate.
The complex eyes with which they used to see,
Would follow every move I made till late.
The creepy webs they'd weave were all around;
Designed a wicked way I can't define.
I thought they'd stay confined to their boxed ground
But sticky trap remains and sounds a sign;
Of dead thoughts caught in traps of their own glue;
No way to get them back, the spiders ate.
Left spawning secrets Godlike wanting do,
To steal the pride of prey, asleep, their bait.
Unconscious prey can not be scared you'd think,
but when awakened, found to be a fright;
These scary bugs will bleed until they drink;
Just to leave me drained on a dreary night.
I was amazed at what they would locate.
The complex eyes with which they used to see,
Would follow every move I made till late.
The creepy webs they'd weave were all around;
Designed a wicked way I can't define.
I thought they'd stay confined to their boxed ground
But sticky trap remains and sounds a sign;
Of dead thoughts caught in traps of their own glue;
No way to get them back, the spiders ate.
Left spawning secrets Godlike wanting do,

Unconscious prey can not be scared you'd think,
but when awakened, found to be a fright;
These scary bugs will bleed until they drink;
Just to leave me drained on a dreary night.
