Both
Walking through my memory
Watching my own pain
If I could have it any other way
I would already have it changed
I was asked to speak to the 16 year old me
But I don't think she understands
How much I have changed
To not be able to help who I was then
Her and I are not alike
I don't think we ever were
She is who I once was
And I am who she'll be
She is one I used to love
I am one she doesn't want to see
All we have between each other
Are fingers pointing the blame
We're both wrong
We're both right
We're both one and the same
Watching my own pain
If I could have it any other way
I would already have it changed
I was asked to speak to the 16 year old me
But I don't think she understands
How much I have changed
To not be able to help who I was then
Her and I are not alike
I don't think we ever were
She is who I once was
And I am who she'll be
She is one I used to love
I am one she doesn't want to see
All we have between each other
Are fingers pointing the blame
We're both wrong
We're both right
We're both one and the same
