The rule of the land is that those heading out
Have the right of way over those heading in...

For the road of youth is narrow and windy, thickly lined
It's impossible to turn back when you're looking Ahead...


Wife: It is time we got in...
The rain is falling
The sun has set
The darkness is calling
And the monsters will
Be arriving shortly...

Husband: Uh oh, the door is locked, dear...

Wife: But do you have the key?

Husband: No, it is locked inside.
We'll have to smash a window...

Wife: Bet then it will be ruined!
It will be broken.
It will lose the privacy,
The protection of our possession...

Oh well, I guess so...


I am discovering the world like everyone else,
But instead of decorating proud limbs
With knowledge and proficiency,
I am writing it down weirdly...

Eventually I'll end the digressions,
The humour can't last forever,
And it'll all come through...

Poetry will overtake breath...
Inspiration will vomit ceaselessly from my void...
Air shall be my muse...


Drugs.

Drugs are driving a car when sitting still.

Drugs are the wind, when no wind blows.

Drugs are doing nothing for a day, in one hour.

Drugs are the necessary urine splatter experiments
Performed in the washroom after the movie
When life forgotten must pleasantly resume,
If it is to resume at all.

Drugs are necessary,
For our souls are not relative and distinct...


We are all of a dark soul,
The being of our senses
Hides the darkness from us.

Better then to be a monster hidden,
Fused in the bushes together,
Than a bloated beauty, soft pig of skin,
Large and alone in a field of thorns
And thunder from above.
