The confusion of first love.

It started out easy enough, me falling headfirst,

I didn't know what to do, I just took a chance,

I said those 3 words, that some say are cursed,

Surprisingly enough they started my first real romance,


I never thought you could feel the same way,

But you did, and I was breathless,

When I discovered this, it made it the best day,

I hoped your feelings were like mine, deathless,


I was new to this whole thing,

But I did my best, and learned as fast as I could,

I really did try, and brought all I could bring,

I knew I didn't deserve you, and could've lost you, I just never thought I would,


But now I'm not sure how you feel or what to do,

All I know is I don't want to lose you.
