Borrowed Time
It’s been six months since
I penned down my thoughts
The world around me keeps
Turning and I am left still
All words and passion seemed
To have lost their worth
Trying in difficulty to
Revive my heart’s will
I am not aware of happening
In between days
As if time snatched me
In its own dreadful way
Though I continue to breath
My body barely function
Trying to break free
In chains of my creation
Everything around me
Had inspired me less
Fading hopes into oblivion
Waiting to be bless
A once cheerful child
Trapped in my hollow shell
I still cannot believe
I took the road to hell
I’ve wasted my life
In all those empty years
Even if I washed the sorrow
With all my tears
I cannot bring back
All the beautiful things
My time has ended
Like the early spring
I crave for forgiveness
More than anything
A thin thread of redemption
In which I painfully cling
If all my sufferings
Is the price I have to pay
Just utter the word
And I’ll tremble if you say
I penned down my thoughts
The world around me keeps
Turning and I am left still
All words and passion seemed
To have lost their worth
Trying in difficulty to
Revive my heart’s will
I am not aware of happening
In between days
As if time snatched me
In its own dreadful way
Though I continue to breath
My body barely function
Trying to break free
In chains of my creation
Everything around me

Waiting to be bless
