Reflection

Allegedly trudging heavily I tread upon the life I once led going over the things I've said holding my breath, my mind trying to rest, trying my best, but there's nothing left to keep my heart bereft from beating out of my chest at her behest. It's worse than petty theft, the emotional neglect going unchecked, a life left wrecked, left behind on the path I've trekked....
