Ruination

Day to day, of inner decay,
makes serenity seem so far away.

The storm within rages, this shell...it cages,
siphoning emotions onto the pages.

The pain I feel, will soon reveal,
it is becoming harder to conceal.

Those who care, had best prepare,
to witness purity in despair.

I've held these walls, in the withered halls,
the time will come when this temple falls.

Remaining belief, will turn to grief,
with no hopes of solace or relief.

The day will arrive, if I struggle or strive,
pain will rule as long as I am alive.

So cherish each smile, at least for a while,
face each trial, with the bliss of denial.

Read each line, try your best to define,
and assume that everything may be fine.

Loved ones heed, these words that I bleed,
for the darkness within may finally succeed.

I scream, I Cry, but my dreams and I...
have no choice but to wither and die.
