Always Wanting What I Can't Have

I bury my feelings deep in as I penetrate her mind

As I try to find you in her

Such a frivolous pursuit

But I still keep peeping in hoping to find you

Inside her eyes are filled with sorrow

When I come through on borrowed time.

Somewhere down the line I stole from tomorrow.

Which turned into today and yet I still can't stay

I have to stay my course

There's no time for remorse

As I injure and give birth to bitterness

Chasing something that truly doesn't exist

As I Run away chasing exits through back doors through the soul

Slipping away, right before she says...

Because the thought of love doesn't exist without you

But you don't exist because I was chasing her

The one before you.

An endless pursuit to have something I never had

To grasp something I can't grab
