Image for the poem I Die Beneath the Waves

I Die Beneath the Waves

I know for certain that everyone cares
About all that nothing that comes from the air
Everything's worthless but nothing really is
You can tell from my photos that I do exist

And the sea churns and the grounds all look hot
So I forever roam beneath the waves

I see the wide skies, the valleys, the rivers all long
The cats and the spitters, the weak and the strong
Never I plan on swimming on up
Learning to hate and death from above

And the sea churns and the moon goes down
So I roam beneath the waves
Yes I roam beneath the waves

Sweet Apam Napat to wash free the stones
Make it unclean to the touch of my bones
I would give nothing to get proven right
Just twice in my predestined life

Fish me out pull me up into your sky of hate
My fins are all perfect and my soul so straight
Loved all my life just swimming below

So utter not Old Man your silent prayer
I know I'm coalescing up in this air
I need so much more if I never see
A discordant cacophony waiting for me

And the seas churn and the moon comes up
As I leave beneath the sea
Yes I leave beneath the sea
Yeah I die beneath the waves
