Thirsty Soul
Send forth your light
illuminate this gloom of pain
in the radiance of your brightness
let my soul shine again
Once it was joy and laughter
freedom ruled fears were never found
but now your absence is telling
I'm shackled captive bound
Ringed round by fears and terror
and faith's shrinking down
if now my day turns into darkness
for me there will be no crown
With all my works comes futile efforts
not guided by your love
engaged by darkness and all its forces
the principals ruling the word
I am just a worm,an insect
Without you I will gone
inwardly I beg do not ignore my pleading
to overlook my wrongs
illuminate this gloom of pain
in the radiance of your brightness
let my soul shine again
Once it was joy and laughter
freedom ruled fears were never found
but now your absence is telling
I'm shackled captive bound
Ringed round by fears and terror
and faith's shrinking down
if now my day turns into darkness
for me there will be no crown
With all my works comes futile efforts
not guided by your love
engaged by darkness and all its forces
the principals ruling the word
I am just a worm,an insect
Without you I will gone
inwardly I beg do not ignore my pleading
to overlook my wrongs
