Distant memories
the ones where i was happy
so loveing and carefree
You loved me for me

Bleak today
no one is here for me
I'm not loved
No one wants me to stay

Empty future
the image of a happy family
a healthy marriage
a baby on the way

A present lie
you still tell me you love me
I'm beautiful so you say
You're happy for me

The instant pain
a hole you left in my heart
the pain I feel when you say these things
the tears I cry for you everynight

A sudden dicision
plans to make the pain go away
tracing patterns in my skin with the blade
all those pills I've decided to take

The bleak darkness
just floating on my own
Is this what heaven is?
You forevermore stay with me
