Snow Angel

Footprints in the snow
I run around as I laugh
Playing like I’m a kid again
Giving me energy of youth
Not caring who might judge
Because I’m in love
Sure, she is not here at the moment
But memories keep me warm
Even when it’s freaken cold!
Still my heart is a flutter
For a girl like no other
Thinking as I fall to the ground
Moving hands and feet in a shape of an angel
Wishing that angel had a partner
Maybe a girl that understood his silly side
But calms down his devilish desires
Would you know such an angel?
I walk slowly to the door then trip and fall…
(Darn, mother, friggin, frecker!!)
Stand up, breath out… ok
Time to go inside, brush myself off
Going to the kitchen to make some hot coco
Warming up my hands against the cup
Taking sips as I think of our love
I glare at the phone as I contemplate
Well, I don’t want to be a bother…
Oh well, what the hell, i’m sure you will forgive me
“ring, ring… Hello?” I smile at the sound of your voice
