serenity's tune

as she wept silently on her bed
thinking about her loved one with eternal dread
still thinking about the time he once cheated
she couldn't imagine the way she was treated

but still her music box played a beautiful tune
when she listened her childhood came back so soon
she could never return to the recent events
the music box holds her childhood, it's what it represents

this was the only way she could keep so calm
she thought it was the only thing that could cause no harm
with the music box playing over again
