Image for the poem Bermuda

Bermuda

Sunny beaches, feet in sand
Laying back with drink in hand

Bask in glow of warm bright sun
Hear the children play and run

Family gathered all around
Feel secure, so safe and sound

Big wide smile upon the face
Never want to leave this place

World of trouble now be gone
Nevermore to be its pawn

Cold metal under the jaw
Time for one final hurrah

Hold it tight and give a squeeze
Now is time to feel at ease

Only peace, no doubt or fear
Bermuda's nice this time of year
